David Keeny and his wife, Reta, have three grown children (Joshua, Christopher and
Amber) and six precious grandchildren.
David accepted Jesus as Savior in 1977 at the age of 17 as a junior in high school. He
later surrendered to ministry and served in many roles, including S.S. teacher, bus
director, Christian School teacher, song-leader and pastor while continuing his
education.
David, upon completion of a Master of Divinity from the Baptist Bible Graduate School
of Theology in Springfield, Missouri, pastored the Green Drive Baptist Church in Troy,
Alabama, for 12 ½ years. More recently he served as the Dean of the Seminary at
Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, Louisiana, for 15 years and retired April of
2024. He has been with Baptist Tabernacle since August 2024.
