I am William Kincaid, son of W.W. & Flossie Kincaid, of Odessa, Texas. I am married to Linda Kincaid. I graduated from Odessa High School and joined the Army. I spent one and a half years in Germany. In the Army, I achieved the rank of SP-5. I started Baptist Christian College in 1966 and was graduated from there in 1970 with honors with a BA degree in Pastorology and Evangelism. I also earned a Master of Arts degree from Baptist Christian University. I was hired by Baptist Tabernacle in May, 1970. I worked as fill-in for various staff positions-Sunday School director, bus director, and bus worker. I currently serve in the position of Associate Pastor and teach the Auditorium Bible Class. I also teach a night class at Louisiana Baptist University.

  • Josh Lewis - Youth Pastor

My name is Joshua, and I am the Youth Pastor at Baptist Tabernacle. I surrendered my life to the ministry when I was about 26 years old. I fought with this call for a long time growing up wondering what it truly meant to be called to preach. I had the privilege to get to know our founding pastor Dr. Jimmy Tharpe and became good friends with his grandson Dustin Tharpe. One day we went to visit Dr. Tharpe, and I began to ask him how he knew that God had called him to preach and he showed me the verse in 1 Timothy 3:1 (KJV). "This is a true saying, If a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work." God began to use what Dr. Tharpe had told me that day to convict my heart and show me that God had better plans in my life than what I was currently doing. I've been the Youth Pastor here for almost two years now and have had the opportunity to lead many young people to the Lord and would not trade it for anything in the world.

  • Judy Anderson - Church Secretary (and much more!)

My name is Judy Anderson.  I am church secretary.  I 'inherited' this job four years ago.  It has been a unique opportunity for me to work in my church and with my pastor and staff.  God definitely opened a door for me to have this position.   I am a retired school teacher and cheerleader sponsor.  I taught at Bossier High School for 31 years and was cheerleader sponsor for 22+ years.  I will always be a Bearkat at heart. In my spare time, I enjoy photography and cake decorating.
I also work part time with Graduate Sales.
